I have been a scientist for many years now.

I started my PhD in Paris in 2012, and graduated in 2015. Then I worked as a researcher in Brussels for two years, in Arizona for 3 years (that was really fun by the way), and in the UK for 3 years.

So it’s been a good 11 years that I do research actually! I never got bored about it though…

Beyond work, my working experience made me move to different countries, which was really exciting. Working in Arizona was awesome, it was sunny all the time, I had a jacuzzi at home, I could have breakfast every morning watching hummingbirds flying around cacti, that was an incredible experience! I hope you can have such a fun experience as a scientist in the future!!

I hope I answered your question well enough! Feel free to ask more, and don’t forget…

… to vote for your favorite scientist 😉

I studied maths and physics at university for 4 years and then did an Astronomy PhD for 4 years.
Last year I started my first proper research job, so I would say I’ve been doing science for about 5 years 🙂
