Question: Once you found out about the abandoned uranium mines, what did you?

Excellent question! The purpose of our research is focused on mapping those places that have been forgotten in time, most importantly to preserve such industrial and cultural heritage for the future, but also to identify any risks because of course venturing into a uranium mine can be dangerous. So in addition to making accurate 3D models of abandoned mines, we also figure out what the radiation levels are to make sure they are safe to enter, because people can’t sense radiation… which means they could accidentally venture into a very radioactive place that definitely isn’t safe to go into!
