I enjoy my job because it makes me think in different ways to solve problems. That stops it from ever getting boring and forces me to learn new things all the time.

I really love my job. I love that I have to create new theories. I spend my days dreaming about what could be a smart theory to explain the Universe’s history, to explain what is dark matter, to try to discover it with experiments. It’s a lot of imagination and creativity. And a lot of pretty pictures too! Have you seen the last pictures from the James Web space telescope??

I always liked my job and when – for whatever reason – I stopped liking it, I moved on. As you spend like almost 1/3 of your life working, it is very important to enjoy it.
I liked my different jobs for different reasons, either because I could come up with new things, or participated in developing lifesaving medical devices, working with smart people, being able to travel to places I could not otherwise, lived in different countries and get to know different cultures… and the list could go on.

I am lucky as I love my job as I know that what I am doing everyday is helping to diagnose and treat patients with cancer and other problems. The best thing is developing and introducing new techniques and treatments. We are about to start a new therapy which will help patients who currently have no treatment options so that makes me feel very happy.

I love my job and the main thing is that I work in a great team of people, including doctors, psychologists, computer scientists and other physicists. I learn a lot from them, and hopefully they learn a bit from me. We have to work together as a team to solve the problems we are working on and that is very satisfying. I also like the fact that my work can have a direct benefit for patients, if the discoveries we make lead to better diagnosis or treatments.
